Rustic engagement session Muskoka

Wyndance Golf Club wedding photographer – Uxbridge, ON

I had such a blast with Kim and Jesse capturing their Rustic engagement session in Muskoka (Washago, Ontario) at their family farm and cabin…I told them they were so sweet that they made me want to pour maple syrup all over them so I could eat them right up. HA! (I’m kidding…sort of). But seriously, check them out, they are adorable!

When I met with Kim and Jesse in Whitby to discuss their wedding, one of their questions was “would I be willing to travel to do their engagement photos and how much would I charge for mileage to Muskoka?”. My answer to them was YES, I am willing to travel to do engagement photos and NO, there wouldn’t be any mileage to Mukoka as I have spent every summer up there since I was born at our cottage and accordingly we would just do their photos on one of the many weekends I was up there with my family. I continue to spend a lot of my summer of at our cottage in Gravenhurst with my parents, husband and kids, so I am happy to report that I will be doing some Muskoka weddings this summer, I can’t wait.

Accordingly this engagement shoot was RIGHT.UP.MY.ALLEY – I was in MY element. I just love love love anything rustic, cottage, lakeside, barn, etc and this shoot had ALL those elements. I couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque setting; give a photographer a cabin in the woods along a river, a sunset and all of nature’s glory and she is a HAPPY GIRL. Stay tuned for more beautiful photos of the “scrumptious” couple. I cannot wait for their fall wedding at the Wyndance Golf Club in Uxbridge, Ontario
