Vicki and Josh asked to have their engagement photos done at The Guild Inn, Scarborough, Ontario which is awesome as I grew up near The Guild Inn in Scarborough and spent a lot of my younger years hanging out there with friends or cycling past the sculpture garden. I absolutely LOVE that these pieces of architectural history have been preserved for us to enjoy…makes you wonder what other amazing structures have been lost to demolition. It is extremely common for my engagement shoots to start off with the couple a little bit nervous (honestly, how often do you have professional photos taken these days?), but as you can see, we had some fun and got warmed up and before we knew it everyone was smiling, laughing and having a great time…that is what a Laurel Leaf Photography shoot is all about.  I feel like a proud mama when my clients can relax and just be themselves as that is when I feel like I have done my job well. Well done Vicki and Josh, you guys rocked it! I’m really looking forward to their wedding this coming July at the Royal Ashburn Golf Club, it is going to be gorgeous.
